RIAI Environmental Accreditation

Mícheál de Siún has successfully completed the RIAI Environmental Induction Module and has been awarded RIAI Environmental Accreditation.

This is a comprehensive course and assessment developed by the RIAI to offer a pathway to upskill its members in key areas of sustainable design, while offering an accreditation which will become the preeminent qualification for sustainable building design.

The course covers 4 Pillars of Sustainable Design:

• Context, Legislation and Leadership,

• Operational Energy,

• Embodied Carbon, and

• Exterior and Interior Environment Quality.

This is the first time this course has been run and achieving this accreditation underlines desiun's commitment to sustainable design approaches in all of their projects.
