5 Cube Progresses to Tender

The 5 CUBE is the result of a European-wide open design competition, commissioned by Dublin City Council, titled ‘Imagine Energy’, seeking proposals for a renewable energy feature that would highlight the link between renewable energy and demand. The 5 Cube will engage citizens on the benefits of renewable energy; The glossy and reflective black volume physically represents a cube equivalent to the volume of oil consumed every five minutes in Ireland alone. The scheme is progressing to tender and is expected to complete on a site in Dublin's Docklands by Spring this Year
